In some respects it seems like I have been here forever. At the same time, it seems like I just got here, it seems like classes just started, this place was so foreign. Things that have become second nature seeing around, like Guiness on tap (ewwwwww) seemed like magical unicorns in a faraway place, now will just go back to seeming like magical unicorns, a rarity. Ok, no but I hope you know what I mean. Now my notebooks aren't even filled all the way; my brain is full of lessons from school and living.
Last night at movie night another emotionally draining movie about a study abroad student. After we had a discussion. I agree with what a girl commented.
I am petrified to go home.
I am terrified about how and how much I have changed.
I am scared of how and how much everyone else has changed.
These fears also beg the question, of will I to some extent "change back" when I am back?
Don’t forget me, I’ll write to you soon!
Stacey
Distance never separates people that really care, for our memories span the miles and in seconds we are there. But, whenever I start feeling sad because I miss people I remind myself how lucky I am to have people so special to miss.
